anyone having the issue when the phone is locked on the home screen it will say a weird message with a bell next to it? For example:
"this phone belongs to John Smith. If found please contact 654-232-5553"
The names and messaging have been changing every few hours. I have NO IDEA who these people are or what these messages are. Have I been hacked?
it only happened to me once and it was in my car dock, I will say that the power cord I ran for my car dock was alittle rigged for now. other than that its been good, no other problems. I switched from a blackberry after 5 years I think I made the switch for good!
I was having that problem as well. I thought it was associated with my anti-virus program though.anyone having the issue when the phone is locked on the home screen it will say a weird message with a bell next to it? For example:

LOL, for some reason, I never believe the sales reps when they tell me they haven't heard of varying problems on these phones. No wifi issue here. I can keep a strong signal no problem on my D2. Sync, and Facebook issues that you mention i can't recall either
I can second that haptic feedback issue. It drove me nuts for the first couple of days. Getting used to it, but would like an option to turn it off.
Getting a weird double-click-y lock sound when i put it on the dock.
I do have some signal weirdness too - sitting in the same spot i can get 1-bar to 3 bars then back down to 2 bars. When i am on a call however it seems to go to full-signal. Anyone else having these reception oddities?
When I went to the verizon store yesterday, I asked if there had been any complaints and the rep said he hadn't heard anything yet but that motorola will be sending out a patch soon for some other 'bugs'.
