D2 or D2G which is better in terms of rooting

I was wondering if anyone knew which is better for rooting. I heard that the D2G doesnt have many roms out for it. Any help would be appreciated.

I just got into a Droid 2...and I'm glad its not a Global...I've seen a lot of roms and tuatorials that specifically exclude the global...
