Dailer Display (UI) Question

I have got the new HTC one M8 and I would like to know how can I change my dialer display (pic 01) to a dots display (pic 02)

If you look directly to the left of the "End Call" button, and press it, the phone will display the keypad.

Thanks for the replay
I am referring only to the display of the picture of the contact. First I had this dots view, and somehow it disappeared..
I don't know how to get it back

When the picture of the contact is very small, there is a dotted view. When it's big, it's a normal view. At least it's how mine seems to work
