dailer in voice mail

[AC Question]

when a voice mail message tells me to dail one to retrieve info on there system the voice mail repeats original message as if I am still in there menu.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Open the Phone app, tap Menu>Settings>Call Settings, and see if there is an option for DTMF Tones. Make sure they're turned on.
