Dang it AT&T! I wanted a better box!

I legit did a Google Search of, "galaxy note 7 at&t box is awful" specifically hoping to find a thread like this in which I could voice my disgust. My people. My partner and I went to pick our phones up and I was so excited to see how snazzy the box was when he got his Verizon phone (I really do enjoy the experience of great packaging). Then, when my AT&T phone came around I was just like, "Wait, what?" I thought I was getting a used phone in a replacement box or something. Definitely took away some of the retail "magic" of such a purchase. Also, he got a cute little plastic box for the included earbuds and mine are in a crap plastic baggy. Also, no AT&T, I do not want DirecTV holy crap.

I've gotten refurbished crap in better packaging. I can't believe Samsung doesn't see the nice fancy box as being part of their branding and the luxury of buying a $900 phone.

Shoot, I would take mine in a paper bag if I could just get one! Still waiting on the one I preordered from August 3rd.
Sorry to hear this and I can feel your paaaain !?!?!

Hopefully you'll have yours soon ....... nice box or not ?!

I am glad everyone had a chance to laugh at those of us who keep their boxes and wanted a nice looking box. Unfortunately for everyone who throws their boxes away and laughed at us for caring about it when all you do is throw it away, AT&T may or may not charge a restocking fee due to the lack of original packaging. Hopefully not, but yet another reason why they should just leave these in the nice packaging.

AT&T has never had a nice box as advertised on Youtube and other places. Those nice boxes are always the unlocked or international versions. Want one of those have to order it. My box goes in the closet in the pile of other crappy boxes the minute i get it home and take out the charger anyway.

Fortunately when I returned my N7 all they needed was the phone from me. With that said I had a chat with the rep about how I find it odd that AT&T insists on putting the Notes in ugly boxes. He agreed with me and said he has wondered this before himself.

I dropped by my usual ATT store after the gym last Saturday morning and handed the N7 , earbuds and charger to them ...... got my credit and was outta there in 10 minutes.
