Dark Mode on Assistant and Google app?

Has anyone had this option become available since getting Android 10? I still don't see it on my device. Seems like I should have by now. I have dark mode enabled in system settings and in every app I can find...

Did you get it through the regular Google app settings? I just tried the force dark mode setting in dev options, and that kind of worked. The Google app looks pretty wonky this way, but it's something.

It did it on its own , so I dont recall when it happened

That was I believe server side update by Google like the gmail dark mode

Yes I know. Just wondering if I'm the only one who hasn't received that particular server side change yet.

Update. Just signed up for the Google app beta and dark mode was there waiting after the app update came in.
