I just got my note 10+ and loving it so far. Yesterday I was trying to set the dark mode schedule to sunrise to sunset but dark mode never came on at sunset. I noticed it says location needs to be on which location services is on on the phone.... What am I missing? Thanks

Essentially, it's saying that it needs to know where you are so it can turn night mode on and off at the proper times based on local sunrise/sunset data.

You'll need to turn location on in your privacy settings.

If you're concerned about that, then you can set it to turn on and off at set times.

I personally have enabled night mode all the time. I don't really care about the pseudo science behind it. I just like the look.

No pseudoscience - AMOLED screens use more power to display white than to display black. (A black LED consumes no power.)

Tremendous battery saver 24/7

According to the article I posted its not. I think the guy who wrote the article is full of crap. That's why I poked fun at it.
The article you posted says clearly that you can expect an extra hour of battery per day from using dark mode (provided you have an OLED screen, which we do). That's a significant boost.

Not according to the genius who wrote the article.

As for me, I'm with you, I use Dark Mode all the time. So, according to the guy who wrote the article, you and I are just some window licking herd followers. Lol

Lol. They sometimes get it right. I mean even a clock is right twice a day, right?

I refuse to read them. I think the writing is **** and it's nothing but massive click bait 98% of the time.

The only 2 things in that article that are right is the astigmatism and memory retention parts. Even then they are only 1/4-1/2 right.
