Dark Streaks in LCD Screen

I think I may have a new Issue with my 3D. Under direct light, or sunlight, the LCD screen appears to have several darks streaks running across the entire length of the screen. I first noticed this issue while trying to clean the screen for a screen protector. The streaks would not clean off and are imbedded within the screen. This is my second 3D, the first had dead pixels and other issues. I am worried that my sprint store will not allow me to exchange another time. So does anyone else have this defect in the screen or are there any ideas on what might be causing the issue? I am an avid HTC fan, but find it upsetting that there are so many issues with this phone. Aside from the dark streaks I also have light bleed along the bottom, two dust particulates under the screen and a slight tilt to the left of the screen. Should I accept in what my opinion is a flawed device or return the phone / exchange it if they will allow me to? I appreciate any feedback as this is my first post in this community. -Thanks

May as well return your phone and wait for something else.Because every Evo3D has the black streaks(im sure it has something to do with the 3d screen) and if your going to complain about specs under the screen then you are never going to be happy because even the new phone you get will eventually get them too...Dont take this response as me being a smart ass or anything.Im not trying to disrespect you.

Maybe I should have phrased it differently. These are not the streaks related to the 3D functionality. At least I am pretty certain. My problem appears to be almost like runs of water under the screen. Random "streaks" which run in different directions and have varying widths. Think of a mirror after a hot shower. How the water streaks and runs down / across the glass. So if this is a normal defect then that's what I was trying to find out. The dust is a defect in my opinion related to the manufacturing process. Sue me for thinking any product I buy new, should be new and devoid of defects which could end up costing me a TEP replacement down the road. I would hate for my screen to become dysfunctional down the road due to something I noticed while within my 30-day period.

Oh,im with ya man..I got specs under my screen the same night i walked out of the store with it and wasn't happy about it.But Sprint gave me the run around so im just sticking it out and seeing if it bothers me still in a week..As for the description you gave about the water..Yes every evo3d Ive seen has this wavy look to it when you hold it at an angle with light hitting it.All 7-8 evo3d's between me and my friends have had this.

May I ask what your using to wash and wipe with? All I know is I have a zagg on so im not looking at bare screen. My screen looks great from all angles. Last week I took it to best buy because the zagg they installed had a finger print underneath. When they took it off i looked at my bare screen closely and it was beautiful.

Alright I appreciate the feedback man. I was just concerned I had a defective screen. They look like stretch marks and had me worried. I have the worst luck in the world when it comes to phones so I tend to get a little anal when I buy a new one. I also have ocd tendencies so as long as I know it’s normal it does not bother me.

its there man trust me..Its not a defect.I think its some type or coating for less finger smudges..If you hold the phone at an angle with a reflection shining on the evo 3d(with the screen off) you will see it.

It is just a stick on halo screen protector and I used a micro-fiber cloth to clean it off before application. For a second I thought I had somehow pressed too hard on the screen and that made the marks, but that's unlikely since I hardly used any pressure. Hold your phone up to a light or turn it off and go outside in the sunlight, for me it’s very noticeably not a solid black surface like I'm used to.

Well if it is there as you say, and i have to tap dance to see it in the proper light,, its hardly anything to complain about. A bit ridiculous if you ask me. Fyi, i have looked at my screen in every way and have not seen this. Not saying anyone else has not, can only speak for mine and my eyes.

Brian are you talking about the waves that look kinda like a oil slick reflection? Yea that's def part of the g-glass screen and its composition. I'm referring to actual stretch mark like streaks under that when you use the phone in sunlight or high light situation.

Actually I notice it at work under the florescent lights also. Any high light situation does it for me. While the screen is displaying while or any other bright colors its unnoticeable, but as soon as you go into the menus or look at anything dark it shows up.

Here is a really blurry image of what I'm talking about. The screen is totally clean so if you can make out the streaks they are under the screen.

A slightly better view abet I am using a flashlight to reproduce the effect. Actually looks much worse outside or under florescent lighting.
