Dashcam vids with VLC

So I have the galaxy tab A 7inch and I only bought it to learn android, it’s been pretty good so far. Noticed a lot more trivia apps on it then iOS has, so I’m pretty happy with it. But my question is about viewing the videos from the microSD card from my dash cam in my car and it wouldn’t allow me to do anything so I installed the VLC app, now my question is, is it possible when you’re in VLC and on the video you want to upload to YouTube, is that possible? Or is it just purely a viewer because I don’t see a way where I can import the video to YouTube or even save it to the device but you would think there would have to be that option?

I know it's an older post. But we use TOGUARD front and rear dash cams.
I hate it when I'm reviewing things. But if I want to save something and transfer it something else.
I use ONEDRIVE.

I just pop out the micro SD card. Format and save and take the old one into the house.
Have you tried moving your sd card to the tablet or whatever you're trying to use to view it first. I think you'll find out by just dealing with the SD card, it's lot easier to manipulate into other devices. Then you could decide where to place the files once you're able to view them and download them.

I hope I've helped you somewhat.
I remember when I first got them cameras I would unhook them, take them in the house, plug them into the laptop and let them download all the information. Then I realized that it was just taking too long it was just so much easier to just pop out the SD card pop another one in.
Leave camera back in place and never miss anything.

Just a thought

I haven’t use the android tablet too much lately for anything other than playing net radio. I’m just going to use the iPhone to get the videos off the dash cam because the dash cam has Wi-Fi and it’s pretty cool. I don’t think I would ever have a dash cam now without Wi-Fi. For the price you pay the RSC Nano is really good.

Yes it's a real advantage!
