Data access slurping my battery!

Hello all,

Sinds a couple of days i have a problem with my internet connection on my desire.

I reset my device and after a couple of hours a data stream starts up. I see the up arrow lighting up (no down arrow tough). Some program is requesting something and is not getting it, but what?

Is there a program that i can use to check which program is using the internet connection?
Or is the another solution that i have not thought about...

I had the same thing going on yesterday. Normally by battery lasts all day. It was dead by noon and my data bars were lighting up non stop. Not sure whats going on
