Data connection not connecting after kitkat update

Hi.. I have got a new LG G2 with Jelly Bean. It was working fine until i updated it to Kitkat 4.4.2. Data connection was working properly before updating to Kitkat 4.4.2... But not the data connection is not connecting at all. When i select data connection, it shows it is selected, but the selected data symbol in the Notification area doesn't appear. And also when i try to access internet, it says No Internet Connection. How to rectify this problem? Thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Wireless & Networks>More>Mobile Networks, and make sure the Preferred Network Type is appropriately set (i.e., to LTE, if that's what you're using).

I've tried rebooting, toggling airplane mode, and B. Diddy's suggestion.
