Data not on

Okay not sure if this is normal or not. When I've had my phone screen turned off for a bit and turn it on I will not have a 3g or 4g icon. Of I go to use my browser right away it will give me a popup to check my connection settings. Any suggestions?

Check your power settings, running on less than "normal" will do that. Juice defender I think can also turn off your network while the screen is off.

sleep mode will also do it.

There is a setting under mobile network settings where you can check mobile data always on. This will eat way more battery life if you check that box, but you will never lose your connection. I keep it unchecked as it totally eats battery life. I still get all my data, but the phone will sleep to conserve battery.

Confirmed juice defender will turn off your connection

I don't use juice defender or anyother task manager. I find I get worse battery life with them.
