Data (photo) Recovery with broken (green) touch screen

Hi guys,

Hoping someone can help me out. My phone has a years worth of memories with my SO in photos and I'm a little desperate to recover them.

I have a broken green screen and cant use the touch screen at all. When connecting to my laptop i beleive the phone is asking me to confirm I want to but i am unable to.

I've tried some recovery software programs to no avail. The issue I beleive I have is allowing the phone to connect to the laptop.

Any suggestions how I can proceed?

A repair shop that saved an S8 screen from a phone that didn't pay to repair, and will plug it into yours long enough for you to get your data off. (You'll probably have to pay for the service, or give them your S8 after you recover everything and factory reset it.)

It's either that, or have the screen replaced by a repair shop that won't wipe the phone first.

(And in the future, save yourself a lot of trouble asnd back up anything important - there are enough free cloud accounts. (And Google picture backup is free - if you had sync enabled, the pictures are at Google Photos.)
