my data network has been out for the day ive rebooted it took the battery out and reset it and nothing is anyone else having this problem

Fine here in the Twin Cities... but that question is probably better asked to ATT to see if there is a local outage. Then you will have them on the phone to check the second most likely cause, which is a billing issue .
