Data Speeds on the Evo LTE?

As you can see I am sending this message from my new SG3, and to say their radio sucks is an understatement. I am coming from the 3D and my wife from the 4G and we both are used to good days speeds, and me even more so with the dual core of the 3D. For those that have had the 3D, how does the LTE compare data speed-wise? Better? Worse? About the same?

I've gotten used to Touch Wiz and found a replacement operating system since Touch Wiz doesn't auto wrap the text when you pinch zoom (really??) but slow data speeds may cause me to either return my SG3 for my old 3D, or swap for the LTE.

The lack of a removable battery was a HUGE concern of mine, but in reading the reports, maybe it won't be an issue. Thanks.

I came from the 4G and the 3D. I've had the 4G LTE since May 24th. Both 3G and WiFi are significantly faster. Screen & camera are better by a huge factor. I too thought battery would be a problem. What you read about unbelievable battery life is all true.
