Data Usage in a Month

I was wondering what was the highest usage of data you use in a month? a specific usage would be nice if you know

How do you check? AFAIR on Virgin's site it just says "unlimited" under usage.

Well it's really more then 10Gig a month.
What virgin does is after/around that amount they will drastically throttle down your data speed.
I can't remember to what but it has been tested and posted here with in this forum...
