I was wondering if anyone else has been experiencing a six hour delay or anything similar on text messages starting on February 28 or March 1.

Is there a possible workaround to this issue?

Still rocking the OV, until the grandfathered plan goes away.

patience. or if you really really really have important texts. do google voice.

This is exactly why am no longer a sprint or virgin customer after several outages in 2011 and 2012. I switched to Verizon. PagePlus to be more specific $55 unlimited talk text and 2 GB of data. And rarely ever signal problems on Verizon Data speeds on 3G are 10 times better then on the Sprint network. I can consistently pull 2 MB plus downloading speeds. Plus PagePlus allows Any 3G enabled Verizon phone with a clean ESN to be put on it. Unlike Virginmobile where you have to buy virgin mobile branded phones.

I work in the industry...all carriers have problems one time or another and Verizon is no different. I've seen areas where Sprint has better reliability then Verizon and visa verse. But I do have to give the upper hand to Verizon only because they have equipment in quite a bit more towers then Sprint. A lot of times it comes down to the area you live in.

unless you live in a major city or along a highway then you wont get coverage. I've learned the hard way with sprint/Virgin. While with verizon i get full bars 95% and if not full bars then at least 3 bars securedowvnload.png
