data warning

I just got a data warning cuz my data is 2.28 GB. It looks like you get that warning when you go over 2 GB. What's the significance of that? I have a s21 ultra with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Is this something I should be worried about and I don't see why?
 
Your data usage has gone over what your phone default is set at. Check with your carrier to see what you are allotted and change if necessary. Unless the notification was an email, then you've gone over and should expect extra charges.
 
That's probably caused by the Data warning in your Data Usage settings. Usually it's set at 2.00 GB by default but you can change it depending on your data plan.
