Has Samsung put data on menu at top of phone? Or do you still have to go into setting, to more data, to turn on and off?

Still have to go through the Settings menu, no quick toggle. It's gone from the power menu as well. I guess you could turn it off with UltraPower Saving Mode, but that's not the only thing that would be toggled in that mode.

It is there on the Verizon variant...which variant do you have?

Not on the T-Mobile one. You have to have a widget or go into settings (nothing in the notification panel).

I'm still using samsung galaxy s 5.

I also have the verizon S7e and it has mobile data available as a toggle in the notification panel as well.
Yep Verizon leaves that toggle and a nice hotspot toggle. The others remove it which is annoying :(.

Nice. It looks like att (and tmobile too ?) like to mess around with the toggles

Verizon S5 still has the Mobile data toggle in the Quick settings.

You cam have the data toggle if you use the Samsung Goodlock app.
