I got a 32GB card from eBay and plugged it into my laptop to format it. That worked so I plugged it into my phone and partitioned from recovery. All was well, phone showed 30 gigs available on the SD. This is where it turned south. I ran the first command from the xda thread. The command didn't work, said it couldn't find the SD. I rebooted and now the phone says to plug in an SD card even though it is plugged in and my laptop just slows down until I unplug the card reader. I have tried 2 phones, 4 card adapters and 2 card readers on all 3 of my USB ports. Windows doesn't see it, OS X doesn't see it, gparted sees it on boot but doesnt mount it. Ugh. Any tips?

you should have formatted it in the phone. Other than that, im not familiar enough with data2ext to offer any otehr help.

I used Xionia CWMA. And recovery doesn't recognize it, says it can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 because it doesn't exist.

Go to Settings/SD card, do you have the ability to format it there? If the phone recognizes it you should be able to unmount it and then format.

Prolly a bum card. I got this usb device that hooks up to a key chain and it will read micro sd's well the funny thing bout this is anytime i want to perm destroy a sd card all i gotta do is plug it in.

One of yer readers on the computer could be bad.

Probably a bad card then. It was $25 for a Class 6 32GB one. Knew it was too good to be true. Damn.
