Help. I am seeing a message saying cannot connect to camera on my nexus 4, how do I fix this please?

The first thing I would try if a shutdown, power-off, and reboot didn't work would be to clear the cache on the camera. First, backup your pictures, just to be on the safe side. Then....

Settings-->Apps-->All-->Camera-->Clear Cache

If that doesn't do it try Clearing the Data.

There is no Camera app listed on the Nexus 4. The stock camera appears to be part of the Gallery app.
