Day 5 with my Thunderbolt

Let me start off by saying that I love this phone. However the battery life has been less than what I could have wished for...at least until today that is. This morning I had class all day, so I took my 100 percent charged TB off the charger around 7am. Since I was in class most of the day, I didn't get the chance to play with it every 5 minutes.

I used the phone to make calls, text messages, and browse the web during my breaks and during my lunch. After 9 hours of being off the charger, my battery was still 50 percent. After 12 hours away for any power source, my battery is 25%, and I am back home about to throw it on the charger. I can totally live with this type of battery life. I ordered the extended battery , but am now tempted to return it because I don't think that it will get much use.


My advice to all that are having troubles keeping their phones alive, is to exhaust your battery completely. Then give it a full charge. Repeat this for 2 days then see how your battery troubles seem to fade away. If you are under the impression that you shouldn't have to charge your phone on a daily basis, then you clearly are the owner of the wrong phone. No LTE phone is going to get much better battery life than that. Cheers.
