Is anyone thinking about or is currently using dBrand? If so, can you post pix?

Thinking very hard. But...it "is" a huge sticker...which is the slight put off on me. But given the Pixels breath scratchable rear glass...I cant even image a case on it doing anything but harm.

I preordered a dbrand back for my XL. No ETA for delivery. I use them on my 5X and 6P. They're great. Performance will vary based on the "color" of the skin. The matte skin is thinner and more pliable. It seems to take damage and distort more easily. The True Color skins are certainly colorful but have a harder textured finish which is more durable.

I've had the black carbon fiber back skin on my Nexus 6 for well over a year. The fit is absolutely perfect (though as a result, it's worth noting it will take some care and a very steady hand to line it up just exactly). Looking at it, you really can't tell it's a skin. It's held up extremely well with no easily visible wear - though this is in part due to the texturing not showing blemishes as easily. A 'smooth' skin would show more over time.

Edit - actually, after a long time the little triangle flap that dips into the 'M' lifted up a bit, and eventually wore off. But that's also right in the dimple where my forefinger naturally fell when holding the phone, so it was getting a lot more contact wear.

Is this textured to the extent that if I got white, it would easily show dirt? (or makeup, in my case?)

I suspect t might - the 'darker' panels have a finer subtexture that seems like it might hold enough to retain some pigment. Just conjecture, though - that's one reason I went for a darker film.

I am likely going to order one in the coming days. Loved it on my note 5

You may be waiting a while. I won't have my phone until mid November. But I'll post a pic of the skin itself

I'm interested in covering the white face of my Very Silver XL. I have *always* had black-faced phones and find the white very distracting.

Going to give the dbrand skin a try as soon as it is available.

Please post a picture once you get it. I've never used a skin on my phone and I'm on the fence about it. I really don't like cases.

Mine's on order, will post when it comes in. Went with black leather and the colored 'G.'

I also went with black leather. Had a lot of dbrand on other phones. Work great. Just got an update from the robot that they are closer to releasing the skins for the Pixel and XL.

Just a note, the picture on the configuration tool on their site shows the skin two different ways: one covering the entirety of the back, and the other showing it leaving an uncovered strip on the bottom and top of the back. I asked Dbrand if there was somewhere I needed to specify which one I wanted, and received an email response saying "All orders for Pixel Back skins come with both the split and full-coverage skins free of charge." Nice touch, to accommodate either preference (my preference runs towards the full coverage, though it's going to take a really careful application to make sure the pinholes line up just exactly with that one).

There will be more than what's already there? I'm looking for something um... Rose goldish...

Dbrand did float the idea of a black back with the 4 colored spikes. Got a lot of acceptance. Maybe they will produce it.
