Dead Pixel

Found a dead pixel... Extremely frustrated. Any ideas on what I could do? It stands out horribly on dark screens. I'm sure returning/exchanging it will be a pain. I remember this happened on my galaxy s6 years ago and I never had any luck with apps that said they'd fix the dead pixel. Any thoughts?

Or would it be a stuck pixel because it is lit when the screen goes dark?

Exchange. Most likely a painful process but if it were me I'd get rid of it and have them send me a replacement. Never had luck with those apps that's might nudge the pixel into working.

Edit: Or return and reorder like people have mentioned if they give you trouble.

Has anyone seen a stuck or dead pixel go away on its own?
