first i wanted to say, i've had both nrom and thundeROM before and thought they are pretty great. So i when i found these i was thrilled cause...best of both worlds.

This is the first time i've had any problems with any of the roms. I down loaded lego, jit and hardware build prop and 2point2 theme. booted into recovery and did all the clears and flashed everything at once. when i rebooted it eventually froze at the android splash. I've tried down loading everything again and re accomplishing the whole process, then i got the xionia kernal and repeated the process no help. Any ideas for what i can do to fix this?

right now i'm back to running thunderom 1.6.2 with no problems.

any help would be appreciated as i can understand ya'll are probably pretty busy getting this new rom thread up and running

I had this issue too, but started off with the xionia kernel in the initial flash sequence, was waiting to see if anyone else had issues so I can confirm. I actually had issues going back to nROM and ended up reverting to my stock nandroid backup before successfully getting back to where I started.

Not a huge deal for me, will transition over sometime.

Edit: tried a different theme with the same results.

I had the same issue with Lego/2p2/jit&hw

Ended up flashing Lego, letting it boot up, then going back to recovery and flashing 2p2/jit&hw and it booted.

Edit: I did wipe cache and dalvik when i went back into recovery

thanks, worked....don't know why i didn't do this first...thats how i've done ever other ROM update...

so far looks like an awesome new ROM.

Yeah good point, it might need to cache first. Let us do some digging but in the interim just reboot after flashing the rom, then flash the theme and build prop. I will adjust the directions accordingly for now.

**To everyone try fully booting into the rom before flashing anything else that should help with anyone having problems with bootlooping or anything.Ill add that to first post..
About md5sum Im not going to md5sum every file. In two years of hacking ive had one bad download. If your download breaks, pauses or anything funny then you should just download again. There's way to many files for that to happen plus i don't have a md5sum program cause i don't use them, sorry.

Directions are updated. All that needs to happen is reboot right after flashing the ROM. Then you can go about flashing the other stuff.

-Recovery
-Backup
-Wipe
-Flash ROM
-Reboot
-Recovery
-Flash rest
-Reboot

Make sense? :)

Great to see this kind of collaboration going on :) Saw that you noted in the buildprop post though that enabling stagefright will cause green lines on youtube videos (and basically anything streamed via h264 I believe). Would it be possible to put up a modified one with the stagefright disabled only for http (but otherwise enabled) so that that doesn't occur? Can't remember the exact line needed in buildprop for that, but know it's possible. Thanks again.

Sure, it would have to be later tonight before i can get around to it (i know it takes like 12 seconds but im busy!!!! lol) but I'll whip something up for you and you can try it out. If it works then I'll post it but you get the be the guinea pig :p

the themes with the circle battery mod seem to use the xda kitchen, because on our Optimus S the xda kitchen's output has an annoying bug that flashes "charging" and 100% when full.

I thought it was supposed to do that lol.

Is it? Stock and ThundeROM's battery mod stay with the charge icon, as well does the ME theme you have up.
Maybe its just me but it just personally irks me lol

It's just a different charging style. This one flashes the current battery percent then the charging icon. The other one starts from the current percent and shows a smooth charging animation.

I could throw together a smooth one if you want.

This looks awesome - sort of the same idea as the custom ROM cooker for the Moment that was off of the sdx-developers page, but for a far better phone and with a much better base to start off of.

I'm definitely going to jump in to this (currently have ThundeROM 1.6.2) in the next few days, if only to get the stock theme that comes with it by default (ThundeROM theme is very sharp, but I'm a vanilla kind of guy). However, if I decide to check out one of the alternative themes on post 2 and decide I don't like it and want to go back, is there a stock theme I can flash, or do I just flash the full lego ROM (and any build prop/kernel/misc) to get back to the stock theme?

I can't remember i might of forgot to upload it and pass the link on or we might of all forgot to whip one of those together. Either way ill make sure we get a revert to stock theme for everyone to use so they can jump back and forth.

Sorry if this isn't relevant to the rom

On this rom when restoring apps with titanium, do the apps show up on the market.

The reason i ask is because when I restored apps on Thunderom they wouldn't show up on the market(under my apps/downloads). So i would have to unistall and resintall them manually from the market. I don't know if it was the rom or the app.

It used to work when i was on the hero.

Thanks for the Rom, will try it out when i have electricity again. :(

Wiping data/cache will remove that data. You probably lost the entries in the Market My Apps list because of that step in updating ThundeROM. This happened to me when I updated nROM after wiping data/cache because the phone locked up.

The apps you installed after restoring and before your backup will show up in the Market My Apps list.

First off, just want to say this is AWESOME! I love all of you guys now so much more. One thing I might add (I know I'm being lazy) but can you add the Gingerbread Keyboard apk to the MISC section? It might make it easier for those of us that want to use that keyboard instead of swype. Thanks! :)

P.S. I LOVE IT!!!!!

P.S.S I LOVE IT MORE!

Yeah, I was actually planning on doing that eventually. I'll post it up right now.
