Dead Screen and Green Flashes

Hello everyone...

Last night I was chatting on my phone and it suddenly went black!
I can feel all the messages and calls coming on the phone, but cant do anything because of the screen.
The phone was perfectly fine, didn't fall or anything, just went blank.
There are these green flashes which I am getting periodically, or when I press the power/lock button.

Green flashes and blank screens usually indicate that the screen is dead. I'd bet that you can probably still answer calls if you remember what you had to do prior to this to answer those calls. So if you had two buttons pop up and had to touch or swipe one if you touched or swiped in that area you would be on the call, just without a display. Depending on what it's worth to you getting the screen repaired shouldn't be a huge expense on an older device at someplace like UbreakIfix or even attempting it yourself.

Welcome to Android Central! Force a shutdown by pressing Power and Vol Down for about 30 seconds. Then try powering on again. If the phone makes sounds and vibrations, but the screen remains blank, it's time to bring the phone to the repair shop.
