December 2025 Security Update

I've not received the December 2025 Security update on my Tab S11 as of yet. I've cleared the system cache and checked several times manually for the update but still no available.

Anyone else having this issue?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It tells me the last update was November 2025 and it checked December 25th 2025. There are no other updates apparently available. That is not the case with my phone, which reports of December 1st security update, but that's what my tablet is telling me.

Same here. My S24 phone got the December security update on December 18. I guess I need to give it another week for the OTA update to arrive or check with Quick Share via USB connected to my laptop

While phones are mostly on a monthly update schedule, I think Samsung has its tablets on a quarterly schedule. So, for the Tab 11 Series, November is the most recent and another not really likely until around February, unless a critical update becomes necessary.

You are correct. After some more searching, I found the update schedule on Samsung's website and the tablets are on a quarterly security update schedule.

I'm new to the tablet world. I really like the devices due to their light weight and mobility. Beats trying to carry my laptop (and assessories) on vacation.

Though I'm using a Galaxy A9 Plus (Wi-fi), my follow up question is asked concerning updates too. Should Samsung tablet users expect monthly security updates? Are tablets that vunerable that they require this kind of security update schedule?

It is kind of concerning because I hate to think that my tablet will suffer from the same kind of Microsoft update influence. I've always hated (and still to this day) the Microsoft update model. Because most times they never fix anything.

I was hoping that this tablet would be very stable.

All electronic devices are vulnerable to differing degrees as to security updates, user online hygiene, etc.

As per a quick Google search, your tablet will receive OS updates up to Android 16 and security updates until 2027.
