Yesterday was a good day. Essential PH-1 got the December update and my Pixel 2 got the 8.1.0 and the December security patch update.

I am quite happy with how quickly Essential keeps pushing the updates out. Can't wait to try out Oreo on this device.
The camera is now quite serviceable in day light and actually some reasonable shots in low light as well.

Someone mentioned that haptic is a little lighter after the update. Anyone else noticing that?

Does anyone know why after the most recent update, anytime I am connected to a WiFi network, my cell signal shows -120/99 (and stays there) and cellular network type shows iWLAN? I'm still receiving texts and able to make calls, but it is an odd new thing. Could it have anything to do with me activating WiFi calling?

Not sure. I just turned WiFi Calling on and off and signal strength remained the same at -85 dBm. I'm on TMO not VZW though.
