December Update

Downloading on my 4a 5G. I checked shortly before leaving work at 4 but didn't want it to download over cellular or be an issue during my commute.

136 MB download.

Still on Nov, google Fi
My wife and I have Pixel 4a using Google Fi. We received the update a couple of days ago. It was when we were home and using the Wifi Calling feature with Mobile Data turned off.

Has anyone noticed any issues with this update? Mine has not come through yet, despite my refreshing. I know last month they caused a lot of problems with Android Auto with that update. Luckily, I haven't had many places to go lately :)

Mine is a pixel 3, but I am considering bumping up (or down) to a 4a because my battery is shot. In fact, it took a nose dive at the one year mark. That doesn't usually happen until the 2 year mark.

My Pixel 2 battery isn't what it was either, but for my use, it's enough - and I don't see anything even in the 5, that makes me want to spend money.

That said, when I did a direct link upgrade, it killed Magisk (I couldn't reinstall it), so I downgraded back to November. (I need Magisk - and TWRP had the same problem.) It's only one security patch - and the last one for the 2 - so I'm not overly concerned. (But there's definitely a glitch for those who root.)

I received the update on my 4a through total wireless on day one. My wife's 4a 5G however, is still waiting for the update. Doesn't this seem unusual?
