Maybe they are fixing a major security screw up they did. If Samsung is rolling out a update fast it's a good chance they messed up and need to fix it fast.I do not think I can ever recall such a swift update roll-out from Samsung.
In less than 48 hours, all of the European and Asian countries have been covered, including the carrier branded firmwares, and all of Africa, except South Africa have received this large security update. New Zealand and some of the South American countries have also received it.
It certainly looks as though Samsung are taking this large security update very seriously.
As per my earlier post, Samsung have reportedly fixed no less than 93 vulnerabilities in their devices so I'm glad that they have acted quickly and that most of the world is now already covered.Maybe they are fixing a major security screw up they did. I don't know, I said maybe, meaning I'm speculating. I'm sure if I'm right Samsung would be tight lipped about the reason, and of course I could be wrong. It's 50/50. It's conversation, I never said it was factWhats the reason?
Usually if they do it quickly it's an exploit , I've seen them give 2 updates in one month and if it is an issue they need to address that was an emergency we would hear about .I don't know, I said maybe, meaning I'm speculating. It could be Samsung isn't known for being fast, so that's why I said it could be something they screwed up.Usually if they do it quickly it's an exploit , I've seen them give 2 updates in one month and if it is an issue they need to address that was an emergency we would hear about .
We definitely hear about it lolIt could be Samsung isn't known for being fast, so that's why I said it could be something they screwed up.

I had to put a Verizon SIM card from my work phone into my Fold 4 to get it to upgrade to Android 13. For some reason T-Mobile is blocking it.Just mentioning that unlocked on TMO USA, still on Android 12/November patch.
