I do not see a root file to drop my custom rom .zip file into

root file = not in any other folders.
So the path would be /sdcard/YOURROM.zip
if it was in a folder, it would something like this and not recognizable:
/sdcard/SOMEFOLDER/YOURROM.zip

does that make sense? let me know if you are still struggling.

just the same way as you flashed the rom.Make a nadroid just incase.

I am running damagecontrol 2.07.2. Was wondering if there is anyway to uninstall the sprint bloatware

yes there is. did you install the sdk?

cd c:\android-sdk-windows\tools
adb remount
adb shell
rm /system/app/XXXX.apk
reboot

Here are the file names you need:
Nascar
Sprint_Nscar.apk

NFL
Sprint_NFL.apk

Sprint Nav
Sprint_Navigation.apk

Sprint TV
Sprint_TV.apk
Sprint_TVWidget.apk
