Declining OTA on a rooted, stock device?

Until I have time to figure out how to restore a couple of ICS items that JB takes away, I want to prevent the OTA from downloading and nagging the piss outta me.

How can I do that?

I'm not sure if there is a way to do it on the GNex but on some devices there is a apk in particular that if you remove or freeze will disable the OTA notifications on a rooted device.

Just have a custom recovery.

Edit: I lied. However, if you're on something custom, like a custom "stock jb" rom, the OTAs will never come.

I'm really slammed for time to research these days. Is there a quick and easy way to transfer ICS wallpaper and the News & Weather widget to JB?
