Default Gmail account = LAST account used?

If I'm in an application and want to share something via gmail (say maps, and want to share a location), the Gmail account chosen seems to be what ever was last used in the Gmail App.

Is there any way to designate what Gmail account should be used for Share operations triggered from other apps?

I'm interested in knowing the same. I've mistakenly sent email through my work account when I assumed my personal email would be used .

I'm bumping this because I have the same question. I use a Droid X and don't
see a setting for setting a default account. I used an Evo a few months ago
for a couple of weeks and I could have sworn that I was able to set a default
account in the app. Any ideas anyone?

Same concern here. It drives me crazy when I send something using the wrong account.

Google might be a friend, but in this case it wasn't an F buddy because this
doesn't work.
