Default launcher??

I'm considering buying lg g5. How's the UX 5 launcher? If I choose to use Nova due to the lack of apps with default launcher, would I be losing any specific functionalities such as double tsp to wake/sleep etc?

My wake to sleep still works. Im using Buzz Launcher and it is awesome launcher! )

The number of apps you have on the launcher depends on you, not on the launcher. (LG may not put a lot of apps on their launcher by default, but you can always drag more of them to the launcher from the app drawer. But Nova does give you a lot more features.)

I use Nova. Nothing changes. All the functionality is intact.

I must admit, I still fire up the LG Launcher to try and get used to it but find myself always going back to Nova.

Arrow Launcher and double tap works fine.

Thanks guys for the reply. I guess there's no functions I'll lose by using another launcher on g5.

For example in my BlackBerry Dtek50 with the default launcher I get the pop up widgets which is quite nice - see the content by swiping up on the icon without opening the widget. But if I use any other launcher I don't get this. I'm yet to see a launcher which has this feature
