Default phone dialer on SN2: Changing the start-up tab when opening the dialer

Hi everyone,

I'm using the dialer that comes default with SN2 and it always starts up with the keypad.

There are four available tabs: keypad, recent calls, favorites and contacts.

I've looked and haven't found a way to modify which tab to open up with.

Does anyone know of a way to have it open up in a different tab than the keypad, like recent calls for example?

Sort of. If you use Contacts in place of the dialer, it will do exactly what you are wanting. If you look closely, it has the identical tabs as the dialer. But when you close it, it will reopen on the last tab you had opened. At least it does on the at&t device.

Sweet, thanks for that tidbit. I think that's a good workaround. Bummer the default dialer doesn't have a "remember last used tab" option.
