I am having a problem with my Thunderbolt such that many times, the widget and application configurations are not saved.
For Widgets, as you can see in the screenshot, sometimes all the widget are broken and I have to re-configure everything. This include widgets that have data, such as dates. So I lost the data when this happen.
For applications, I don't have screenshots but the situation is that when I open the application, it reverts to default settings. Example is "Folder Organizer".
This issue happens in this situation:
- Rebooted the phone
- Cleared battery stats, dalvik or cache
- Updating 1 or 2 apps from Android Market resets ALL apps configuration.
My Thunderbolt is on DAS BAMF 1.7 with default settings from BAMF toolkit, rooted, NOT overclocked.
I have an Asus Eee Transformer that is rooted, running PRIME! 1.5 ROM and it does NOT exhibit the above problem.
So I am thinking this is either HW problem, ROM problem, or just plain Android 2.2 OS problem.
What do you guys think? Oh, does this have anything to do with the I/O Scheduler? I don't know what is this for, but when I open it from BAMF Toolkit, NONE of the selection is selected (radio button not selected).
