Defaults for contacts

Everytime I go to forward something to someone from an app or a browser and I select a contact, it gives all their numbers and asks if I want to make on the default even though one is already marked as default in the contact. Why does it do this? Also, when using Samsung calendar and adding an attendee it only shows one of possible many emails from each contact and it normally isn't the default email for the contact. Any help with either of these? Thanks.

Just because your dialer app has the default number selected, the app you are now in doesn't pull that checkmark, nor should it, as the data shared by various apps you may send to different connections in that contact aside from the cell phone which you probably have chosen as the default. Regarding the calendar, it's likely you need to set it up the first time you mail to each contact. I don't use Samsung mail though, but you should look at the sub menus in the mail client.
