Not sure if this is something that would have impacted the phone with the AT&T factory ROM on it or not...
I just got an AT&T LG G2 and rooted/put the CleanROM XE 2.0 ROM on it. AT&T's network is such that there is no voice over LTE, so when you make a call it kicks back to 4G (HSPA+). It will also work on HSPA+ if you're in an area without LTE or it seems to kick back when the LTE signal is weak (for some reason the HSPA+ signal seems to carry further than LTE). I noticed that when the phone indicates 4G, it consistently shows just one bar even when it should be showing four or five. LTE always reports correctly. I'm not sure if Edge accurately reports signal strength since AT&T's coverage is pretty good around here and I've never seen Edge show up on my last phone before unless I've been far from home.
It's not really a big deal, just a minor annoyance. Anyone else notice this?
FWIW, I love this phone so far. The CleanROM ROM is fantastic and the battery life is incredible.
