Defective screen

So I got the phone and the top part it looks like a defective screen. Anybody else gave it?

Looks like the screen light refracting off the edge of the screen glass at the ear piece cutout. Can you see it in a well lit room as well? If so, then maybe an issue.

Also, do you have a screen protector on? I'm noticing the same with my device, now that I have a screen protector on.

Yes, that looks more like a screen-protector artifact than a screen defect.
