Ah, you're in the same boat I see. I too have Beats, but they were an anniversary gift from the wife, so giving them back might be awkward. Still gonna get the AKG headphones, but I'll hide them at work or something.

I've got to say that this is a pretty impressive promotion. These things are $300 at Best Buy. I realize we're buying $1000+ phones, but this is quite a freebie!

I think the headphones are a pretty cool bonus. Though, for me I think I will end up selling them. Noise isolating ear buds to the job just fine and are easier to carry when I travel. I don't see much need for headphones otherwise. I have a pair of over the ear headphones already that sit in a drawer most of the time. I definitely have no need for the v bucks and probably won't get as much for them either. I'm doing the Amazon deal so the dex dock and duo charger will be sold off too. The latter is cool in concept, but I face my charger in different directions a lot and don't want the watch to have to rotate with it. I figure selling all of it off will take a bit of the sting off the price as well.

How is the comfort with on-ear vs. over-ear. I travel to Southeast Asia several times a year, so I have Bose and Sony over-ear noise cancelling headphones, but I'm 6'4", and the 16.5 hour hop from Dallas to Hong Kong kills me, so I'm always looking for ways to increase comfort, even with headphones. When I think of on-ear ear, I think of my Walkmans from the 80's.

AKG headphones are a very good brand by the way, much better than the so-called 'gaming' headphones like Razer, Corsair etc I think us UK guys get nothing with our orders though....

I already use some pretty good Bose Wireless Headphones so I would have liked the Australian deal which is to get the 512Gb model for the same cost of the 128Gb model.

As my Samsung Experience Store generally has stock in at launch anyway I personally see no benefit to pre order.

I'll wait to see what is offered after pre ordering has stopped.

But more importantly that early adopters are happy with the Note 9.
