Hey everyone,

Tried to search for this but didn't see any answers. I didn't see this posted on the HTC One forums either. Anyone notice delays in their email notifications for gmail? I've already tried removing and adding my google account. Seems to be a hit or miss for me in terms of the gmail push notifications. In some cases, I get it right away. Other times, it takes a few minutes.

Anyone experience similar issues?

I'm having a problem with Exchange active sync account using HTC mail app. When the screen turns off using wifi I dont get email. I have push configured for peak times and even disable the power sleep mode. Also have "keep wifi on during sleep" set to always.

Have you try to see if its limited to wifi only?

Same problem here.

The problem only exist when using WiFi. As soon as I switch to 3G/4G the notification works.

WiFi - no notification.

I think I will throw this phone away and go back to iPhone as well.

I have the same issue. Pretty annoying, I have to hit the refresh button for it to update.

I have the same issue with my gs4 actually. Wondering if its a gmail issue

Wow. So many easy quitters today. iPhone? Really? Okay. Settle for less, I suppose.

These iphone fan boys are amazing. Go back to iPhone because the notification LED doesn't work on WiFI? There isn't even a notification LED on an iPhone just an ugly hack that causes your camera flash to fire. Insane.

There's a forum for you guys. iMore.com | The #1 Site for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple TV owners

Please don't come here and make remarks like this. If you don't like your phone by all means go buy one you like and don't come here to complain.

Guys having an issue with GMail:
Go to the feedback thing and send a report so Google can fix it. Let them know you're having a problem. I don't have a problem with my GMail on wifi or GPRS. Please send a report so they can get working on a fix.

I have had this issue as well. I can lay the HTC One next to the GS4 and Optimus G pro and send myself an e-mail and the GS4 and Optimus G will get it right away, but no dice on the One. Several minutes will go by and still no e-mail. All three on Wifi.

It's like the data connection goes to sleep the second the screen is off. I need my e-mail right away, so this is kind of annoying. As much as I love the One, this makes it a less reliable option for me.
