Delete entry in email history?

Is there a way to delete an email address entry in the email history list (not from my people contacts)?

Try clearing the cache in the HTC e-mail app. It will most likely get rid of all your e-mail history, but at least you will start from scratch.

I don't see anywhere that you can delete the email cache.

Menu -> Settings -> Applications -> All -> look for HTC Email I don't remember exactly what it is called. Then select it and either Clear Data, Clear Cache or both will be available.

The cache is already at zero bytes and clearing data also deletes my email account setup so this won't work either. Good thought though.

Has anyone been able to figures this out? Is there another thread that describes how to delete the email sent to Recipient history? I also have typed in the wrong address and now it keeps showing up the moment I start to type out that recipient.
