delete instant upload photos

Select the photo, click on "Actions," and choose "Delete this photo."

Hi, I just want to say Thank You so much for this discussion and the Picasa Web Album info. That is what worked for me. What a convoluted issue! It was driving me crazy that I couldn't delete the upload photos. I have Instant Upload turned off now and my Gallery the way I want it on my Note 2. Have been fussing with this for weeks. Thank You again for the solution!

Have you looked for them on your phone with a file manager?

Re: delete instant upload photos from android phone gallary

sign in online to your Google account online
go to
picasaweb.google.com/

find your photos and delete the album or photos there. I think the tab is at the top of the page. THEY WILL NOT DELETE FROM YOUR PHONE GALLERY. Shut your phone off and turn it on again. Takes a few minutes, mine are gone. :)

Got rid of the pictures, but the album is still in Gallery. How do you "refresh albums" on Galaxy S3?

I have a pretty big problem... I took some inappropriate pics on my phone and deleted them immediately however they went on instant upload and I NEED to find a way to delete them by tomorrow... I went on picasa, and can not figure out how to do it... I have somehow deleted them from Google plus, but am so screwed regarding the fact that no matter what I do I am not able to delete these pictures from my gallery.
Thanks a lot

Significant other returning tomorrow?

Un-sync "Google Pictures" & delete the App Data from Applications--> Manage--> "All" tab--> Gallery

Then re-launch the Gallery App & thumbnails will repopulate without showing the Picasa folders.

This video was a big help .. I was getting frustrated how to delete those pics from my phone.. Thanks a lot.

In the future, delete the Picasa uploader app. And disable anything that says "instant upload" pertaining to Google+ and/or any camera/pic/gallery app. Why anyone would want to drain their battery needlessly, by instantly uploading every pic they take is beyond my understanding...
