Accounts are not deleted they just lay dormant until they are logged into again.

I have the same question! Got email notification someone tried to log in to my account five times. Wasn't me. I don't want an account anymore. How can it be deleted?

It just hangs there. Did you consider changing your password? It's odd someone would try and log in to your account for no reason. I'm sure it happens but you have to be unlucky. Sorry you're experiencing this.

This is a privately owned " public " forum and you agreed to the terms of service when you established your account. Therefore your account is owned and managed by Android Central and Mobile Nations and they have the final say with what happens to your account.

Mobile Nation's policy is we don't delete accounts just because you don't want it anymore, they remain dormant once you log out.

If you simply cannot walk away, we can lock you out if you wish. If you read the Terms & Conditions you agreed to when signing up for an account, it clearly states that all posts basically belong to whatever site you are posting on (4th item down marked "Reviews, Comments, Communications, And Other Content") - which is actually the way it is on EVERY forum you join on the Interweb. If you wish to be locked out, let me know and I'll be happy to do it. No problem HelloNNNewman..

You explained things in a good way. It has nothing to do with MoNa and it's communities being jerks about not deleting the accounts its the content that maybe linked to them is property of Mobile Nations and the easiest way to deal with things is not delete the accounts and just leave them lay dormant or " locked out ".

You can get it permanently deleted by banning yourself. Just provoke enough infractions that the Mods are forced to ban you. On the 3rd ban, it is permanent.
