Have downloaded and saved my photos, Music and Videos in Music and Video folders of the PC ( Laptop. ) From there I transferred the same to Internal storage of of android Mobile One Plus Two, under seperate folders using USB Charging cable, successfully.
However those are automatically automatically backed up in Google Photo of Mobile. I would now like to Delete the same from Google Photo, while retaining those in the internal storage of Mobile.
Pl.guide me as how to do it.
Thank you

You need to turn off backup and sync inside Google photos first. I would also disable the app in the phone. Access photos.google.com from a browser and delete them. The photos will remain on your phone.

You can also get around this by using a directory besides /DCIM/Camera on your phone to store those photos. If Backup & Sync is turned on in Google Photos, then the photos in /DCIM/Camera (the camera roll, i.e. the directory where the Camera app saves photos by default) will automatically backup. However, any other directory on your phone can be toggled on or off when it comes to backing up.

So in the Google Photos app, if you tap Library and then Photos on Device, you should see all directories that contain images that the Photos app can see. At the lower right corner of each folder, there's a cloud icon -- tapping that will toggle backup on or off for that directory.

All Android devices have a directory called /Pictures by default, which is not backed up automatically by default to Google Photos, so I would suggest moving your photos there.

Which gallery app are you using, Google Photos or some other gallery app?

Any photo in the /Pictures directory should show up in any gallery app. If you wanted to look specifically at that directory (and not at a consolidated view of all images that are on the phone), you'd have to find the option to view individual directories. In Google Photos, that's in the Photos on Device section, as mentioned above. In other gallery apps, that will depend on the particular app.

Thanks for your reply.
I am Using Google Photos.
As suggested by you ,while I could access all the directories,I could not find Cloud icon neither at the Right Hand Bottom corner or anywhere in the Directory. Pl. advice.
My main problem is HOW to RETAIN the VIDEOS ALREADY SAVED in a Folder of Internal Storage ,while deleting those from Google.Photo?
Is it possible?
Can I copy the same Either on C Drive of Computer and delete from Photo of android Mobile one plus Two?After that recopy the same to One plus Two with its Back up off? or
can I copy those on pen Drive and then delete from Google photo?
Thank you

As long as the cloud backup toggle is turned off for a given directory, any photo or video saved in that directory (as long as it isn't /DCIM/Camera) will not be deleted if you remove that photo from your Google Photos in the cloud. To reduce confusion, when you delete the photo or video, go to photos.google.com on your computer browser and delete it from there. If you try to do it from within the Google Photos app, you'll probably end up deleting the locally saved file instead.
