Delete pictures from sms threads

Is there any way to remove certain pictures from sms threads without scrolling through them and deleting them manually? I'm using a galaxy S5.

Not really. You may get lucky and find a delete MMS only option but I've never seen one in any app. There are lots of ways to backup SMS so you might look at something like that. Back them up and delete the whole thread.
