Deleted file recovery

In a bit of absentmindedness, I deleted a video file from my S7 Edge. I downloaded and installed VLC and was viewing the files on my phone. I deleted a video I meant to transfer to my phone. I've researched and used 2 or 3 different programs to restore the files, but they either won't recognize my phone or fail at finding any of the files before the program errors out.

Does anyone have a program that definitely works with the S7 edge? I did make sure to put the phone in Developers Mode and enable USB script debugging.
