Question Best overall phone text messenger you can also access from PC?

I've gotten lost with all the options. Would like to use something like signal but I need something I can text friends who don't have it and use apple but I also need it to be accessible from a pc.

I used to use pulse sms which was great until it began to bleed over text messages from my wife's phone to mine and vise versa.

Not looking for it to be anything more than a text messenger from my phone. I could care less about other app integration.

I don't know what the best for PC messages are but look into Google messages.
