I posted a thread yesterday asking for help about an issue I'm having and one of the people who replied suggested I try this forum. So the issue is that I stupidly deleted the Google Calendar app using Manage Applications, and now I can't get it back. It isn't available on the market or anyone else that I could find. The Google Calendar storage and Google Calendar Sync apps are still on the app list, just the actual app/widget itself is gone. I have a stock Droid Incredible. Is there anyway to reinstall the app without rooting or resetting my phone? Thanks!

PS, I've tried syncing, and it does it but nothing happens and the app remains missing.

Try this one.

It may or may not work. I pulled this one from my System folder. It's the google calendar, but it may not have the Sense hooks in it. If it does not work let me know. Ubuntu is still downloading. I may not get the Stock .apk extracted tonight, but if not I'll get it tomorrow.

Download it to your phone and use Astro or another file manager to install it.

Mr Comp.

I saw you helped wutangshogun fix a problem where he accidentally erased his google calendar.

I have experienced the same fois pas except with a HTC EVO 4G. It was the original RED calendar that came with the phone. My EVO won't sync either.

You were able to find the original apk somehow. Any chance you may be able to apply your expertise in my case?

Thank you

P.S. I have posted the question on the forum without any replies so far.

Hey sweethomeru

Did you try the one posted? it's a google apk so it should work on your EVO as well.

Mr Comp,

Thanks for replying.

'Download it to your phone and use Astro or another file manager to install it.'

I downloaded it to my laptop (Windows XP) and copied it to my E: Removable Disk.

Put Astro on my phone and searched but couldn't find it.

When you say download it to your phone is there a specific file on the phone I should send it to? I've read people mentioning a 'root' folder.

Thanks for helping the noob..........

-Copy the PC36IMG.zip to the root of your SD Card

Please explain this like I am a 2 yo.............. THANK YOU!!!

I think this may be the answer to my prayers if I can figure out how to do it....

[ROM] 08/03/11 | SPRINT LOVERS | 2.3.3 | 4.24.651.1 | Radio/Wimax/PRI All-In-One - xda-developers

If you have a DInc DO NOT FLASH THIS ROM - it's for and EVO on Sprint not a DInc on VZW. This will give you a real bad hair day.

Here is a page with a bunch of How To's: How To… | PvilleComp's But do not flash the PC36IMG.zip - That is for an EVO not a DInc - you will hurt your phone.

If you want to re-flash Gingerbread, download the Gingerbread PB31IMG.zip from here.

Update - I just saw your post in the General Help Forum. I posted a link to the EVO 4G Unroot thread with instructions on how to use the .exe program based recovery on your PC.

If you need help, please reply in the General Help forum thread. It will cause less confusion.

Hope this helps.

I couldn't get the DUU file to run. Said my battery was less than 30 percent when it was 100%.

I'm hoping to find a mirror for the sprint ROM for my EVO.

Thank you again!
