Deleted voicemail plays itself

Galaxy S5, lollipop. I deleted an email that will return and play itself at the oddest times. After I close a game in Words With Friends it plays out loud over the speaker. How weird. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

Welcome to Android Central! I've seen several posts in the past few months about Google Play Music turning on when Words with Friends was opened or closed--but not voicemails. This is a voicemail, right? You mention email in the body of your post, but I assume that was a typo. Is it the stock Phone/Dialer app that seems to be playing it, or is it some other app?

I delete directly from the application

I have no idea what's playing it, I've tried to figure it out while it's playing but I cant.

You don't have Google Voice installed, right?

Does this happen if you uninstall Words with Friends?

Haven't tried that. I think I'll uninstall Words and reinstall it. I'll let you know, thanks!

Well, now my old, deleted voicemail plays itself when I connect a headset. It's just messed up.

For different reasons, I deleted the launcher I had installed & haven't heard the old voicemail return. Weird.
